JOB DESCRIPTION
In the role of Competence Supply Coordinator, the primary task is to understand how Sölvesborg's business community is developing and ensure that the right education is in place to match future needs. You map the companies' competence challenges and translate them into material for our educational actors, so that high school and adult education can shape an educational offering that makes a real difference for both individuals and employers. Based on the knowledge you gather, you work strategically to connect the needs of businesses with the short- and long-term directions of educational activities.
The role involves driving the development of structures and plans that enable more systematic work with competence supply in the municipality. You analyze how competence needs are affected by goals, environmental developments, and future challenges, and take responsibility for designing, implementing, and following up competence supply plans that provide clear direction for both the business community and educational actors.
Your work also includes identifying what competence development initiatives are needed for existing staff in companies and matching these needs with suitable educational providers or other relevant actors. Through collaboration with, for example, company management, educational providers, internal managers, and the Employment Service, you create conditions for companies to have access to the competence they need, both today and in the future.
Together with the operations, you also contribute to strengthening the work environment and culture that promotes learning, engagement, and retention of staff. Through your strategic work, you build long-term relationships, establish effective working methods, and create structures that prepare both companies and educational institutions for future competence challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree, for example in study and career guidance, labor science, pedagogy, or behavioral science. Other university degrees that provide a good understanding of people's learning are also relevant.
You have experience working with competence supply, labor market issues, educational planning, or other strategic development work. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with environmental analysis, matching to the labor market, or development projects within education, labor market, or business. Knowledge of the local business community's competence needs and training in motivational interviewing (MI) is also a plus.
With a good understanding of both adult education and high school missions, you can analyze needs, see patterns, and translate insights into clear actions and sustainable plans.
As a person, you are resilient, solution-focused, and have a positive, curious mindset. Independent work and taking initiative are a natural part of your daily routine, and you adapt quickly when circumstances change. You communicate clearly and contribute innovative thinking that drives development forward. Collaborating with various actors comes naturally to you. You have an easy time creating networks and building lasting relationships.
You are confident in leading projects and driving processes forward, and you use digital tools effortlessly. Since the role involves collaborations in multiple locations, you need to have a B driver's license.
Welcome to apply to us!
